Israel spends $647 million on United States munitions post war with Gaza
The Pentagon has approved Israel’s request for the United States to supply them with 6,900 GPS-guided tail kits as well as 3,450 small diameter bombs to replenish Israel’s weapons stockpile following the was on Gaza. This is estimated to cost around $647 million. The kits and small diameter bombs are made by Boeing and vary in size. The Boeing made devices are complex electronic guidance devices which are fitted onto missiles in order to make them more accurate; thus giving Israel even more of an opportunity to kill innocent Palestinians. Precision air-strikes are said to be the main tactic which was used by Israel during the 8-day attack on Gaza last month which killed 191 Palestinians and 6 Israelis. It is estimated that nearly 1,500 precision air-strikes were used against targets in Gaza.
10,000 explosive charges are part of the contract as well. Of these 10,000 explosives 3,450 are one ton bombs and 1,725 of them are bombs weighing 250 kilograms while the rest are BLU-109 and GBU-39 bunker busters.
Announcement of such a proposed sale is required by law.
“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability,” the Pentagon said in a statement.
Allow me to reiterate the statement made above. What the Pentagon is saying is that they approve Israel’s war crimes against humanity and will just sit back and continue to watch Israel killing innocent Palestinians and act like nothing is happening.
